Appraisal training

Our appraisal training workshops have high tutor to participant ratios to allow for more opportunity for skills development. We create a consultancy approach to our programmes to help create and develop the right environment for appraisal prior to workshops and applying the learning through follow-up evaluation afterwards.

To help you ensure that your Trust can meet the core national requirements and refresh the appraisal process, we provide a full range of programmes that have become well-established within many Trusts and are fully updated in line with the core requirements for appraisal.

Our training programmes for Appraisers are designed to improve the quality of the appraisal itself by concentrating on developing the key skills of the Appraisers and re-generating enthusiasm and an ethos that balances development with challenge.

We recommend 2 days of training as a minimum for all Appraisers. This can be done on one 2 day Complete Skills workshop or delivered in two 1 day workshops with a gap of 12–18 months between them.
