What are the benefits of using the new site?

Here’s a bit more information about the service upgrades taking place for Doctor 360 in 2020, including remote patient feedback, an unlimited choice of questionnaires to use and simultaneous colleague feedback functionality, all delivered on a brand new intuitive and speedy system.

Why aren’t we migrating legacy data to the new system?

We have chosen not to migrate existing data to the new site in order to circumvent the risk of any security breaches to the high volume of very sensitive user data that we hold on the current system.

Why are we closing down the current user site?

The legacy Doctor 360 site is over 10 years old. Besides the fact that it looks and feels outdated, ongoing development work across the years takes its toll on online platforms. We want our clients to have a comfortable and welcoming interface that delivers new and enhanced features in a responsive and quick way.

What are we replacing it with?

In order to improve the usability of the online system, as well as the range of what it can offer doctors, our next step has been to design and create a completely new platform from scratch. Built on the foundation of 10 years-worth of user feedback, whether Revalidation Teams or doctors responding to our user satisfaction survey, we have introduced a high spec and agile system that offers unparalleled capability for 360 feedback requirements.

What are the benefits of using the new site?

New features & functionality: We’re adding a number of system features to make giving and receiving feedback quicker, easier and more reliable. For example:

Colleagues are able to simultaneously give feedback to several doctors side-by-side, rather than having to work through each questionnaire in isolation.
Colleagues will have access to a ‘review’ page to review their feedback at the end of the questionnaire.
Doctors can upload their photo to their online account, to appear on questionnaires as an aid to ensuring colleagues and patients give feedback to the right doctor.
A colourful re-designed report that makes it easy to understand strengths, as well as areas for development.
Online Patient feedback, with remote request functionality: In response to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on limitations around patient contact with doctors, we offer remote patient feedback facilities, where a link can be emailed or texted to patients to complete an online version of the questionnaire. An added benefit is the time and effort this saves you and your doctors on the task of sending paper-based data for processing.

Much more accessible and compatible: We’ve built a responsive site, meaning it plays well on all browsers and screen sizes, with guaranteed AA compliancy for accessibility.

Better performance: because the system is brand new, it runs on efficient and speedy technology, making life easier for you, your doctors and their colleagues using the system.

More intuitive: designed with a fresh and simple look and feel, the system is easy to navigate making tasks easy to carry out.

As standardised or flexible as you want: we’ve vastly broadened the scope of the system configuration to allow for organisation-specific requirements. For example, you’ll be able to run specialty and bespoke questionnaires from the same system, you can have variances on minimum feedback numbers (for example, some organisations prefer for some specialties to collect more colleague feedback than 12) and create organisation-specific messages to your doctors.

As secure and resilient as possible: Further to Edgecumbe’s Cyber Essentials Accreditation, we now use ISO 27001-compliant Azure hosting, enhancing the system security. The Server Hardware and Data Centre Failover is built-in to the Azure hosting platform, along with robust backup and DR in place. So you can be sure your data is safe.
